20 years I’ve been in and out of this place. I don’t recall ever having any issues. They are an institution and rightfully so. Service is always friendly. It feels just as a small town diner should. Price point is on target and portions are always almost more than you can eat. There have been some updates over recent years, including a following on Facebook announcing specials/special events. I depend on this place for my French toast fix, or bacon cheeseburger with seasoned cottage fries when I’m in the mood for greasy. Keep up the great work!

Great food! The only small issue was that no one acknowledged us when we came in. There wasn't a sign or anything to let us know if we seat ourselves or wait. We stood there over 5 minutes then once a table was empty we sat down just waiting for the table to be wiped up. Again, it took another 5 minutes or so before anyone acknowledged us sitting there by saying they'd be with us shortly. Now, it was very busy but it doesn't take much to acknowledge customers who obviously are new & aren't sure what to do about a table. Besides that, the food really was great & our waitress was great after that. We definitely understood why we were referred to your place for a wonderful meal!

Great tasting food, big portions at a reasonable price. My kids want to go back even though its a hour drive from our house. The baked good are cheap and tasty.

best breakfast spot in the area, Hastings to Grand Rapids. Friendly staff. GREAT food. reasonably priced. Was a weekly stop when I lived in Middleville even now that I am not close i try and make it once a month. Retired Military. a touch better than my other favorite spot Red Geranium.

Food could be better. Requested potatoes well done but apparently the cook cannot follow customer request. Waitress recommended a different restaurant.

The food was very reasonably priced, the portions adequate, and presentation very nice. The baked treats and homemade bread are amazing! The restaurant could use some decor such as artificial trees and wall pictures to help absorb the loudness and create a warmer feel. I prefer separate checks, as it was very confusing and time consuming trying to decipher meals when some wanted to treat others. One server was less than pleasant which dampened an exciting reunion. :(

Authentic breakfast, the homemade white bread is awesome. I should have ask it is sold by the loaf. Definitely make a great French toast. Service is spot on. Don't miss an opportunity. They are always busy. Must be good.

Fried chicken sandwich is great. Sausage gravy is slightly floury tasting. But with a little salt and pepper it's not bad. Staff is friendly and service is good.

Thornapple kitchen! We call it TK. They got off some food the breakfast the omelets are great. Cinnamon rolls are as big as a saucer they're huge. Nachos are really good. Atmosphere is very nice calming. The Waiters and waitresses do outstanding the Cook's do outstanding I really like this restaurant. Meet family and have a breakfast or just coffee.

When the nice waitress explains there isn't a restriction on the number of people at a table, so you humbly ask if a table may be added so that our larger party may sit nearer each other. And the angry waitress unapologetically yells at you that we will sit where the tables are placed, and tables nor chairs will be moved (even after pointing out that we could still observe "the 6 foot rule"). I don't know what our other table tipped the angry waitress, but our nice one got 50 percent!!! This experience left a very bad impression. I will be driving the distance to Bob Evans next time.

Great place to eat in middleville. I've been eating here every once in a while for thirty years.

New building (located in the mini mall behind their original building). Same great food and friendly staff. Prices are just right as well.

Excellent breakfast! Husband had omelet and toast. I had eggs, corned beef hash and toast. They don't skimp on portions here. You won't leave hungry. Will be back!

Food is phenomenal!! Meat lovers omelet is huge and smothered in sausage gravy.. and their homemade bread/toast is amazing!!!
